A passenger was left furious after he wasn’t allowed to board his connecting flight due to being late.
The holidaymaker, who goes by @SamObadTV on social media, was travelling from Manchester and stopped off in Krakow on the way to Albania.
However, things took a turn when he was ‘five seconds late’ and missed the boarding of his second flight.
In a video, he films a Ryanair staff member who won’t allow him to go through the gate and to the plane.
The passenger points out that ‘the bus was still here’ but the airport worker insists, ‘You were too late, you were not in the system’.
‘I could see the last person walking through,’ the tourist fumes, as he points out just how close he was to making the flight.
‘They were, like, five seconds before me,’ he adds.
‘So because I was five seconds late, you can’t let me on?’ the passenger continues to fume.

But the airport worker stands his ground and insists, ‘Five seconds is enough.’
They went on to direct the passenger to the cash desk where they would be able to help him rebook another flight.
However, the customer was concerned that there was not another flight for that same day.
Later on in the video, the passenger attempts to file a complaint with another Ryanair worker in the airport and explains the situation.
The clip on Instagram attracted hundreds of comments from people sharing their thoughts on the situation.
One penned: ‘If it were his family or friend, he would have let them on.’
Someone else added: ‘Man said 5 seconds. No compassion, no understanding.’
Another defended Ryanair and said: ‘Once the gate has closed, it is closed.’

‘As frustrating as this is .. you used the words yourself “I was late”‘ someone else wrote.
‘The gate guy is probably correct. You need to check the ticket and at what time does the gate close,’ one chimed in.
‘They don’t care about your connection flight. I f you were there at the proper hour, they would let you in. If even 5 seconds before the closing gate hour, they would let you in.’
The Daily Mail has approached Ryanair for comment.
