The Paris Métro met the MTA today when Matthieu Blazy presented his first Chanel Métiers d’Art collection in an abandoned Lower Manhattan subway station. Familiar faces dotted the front row, Linda Evangelista, Tilda Swinton, Dapper Dan, and Christine Baranski among them.
When it comes to the runway, however, Blazy prefers not to lean on the modeling world’s most famous faces. His spring 2026 collection for Chanel had a relatively anonymous line-up, though it did prove a queen-making moment for Awar Odhiang, whose triumphant closing strut and gleaming grin sent her into stardom overnight. And today in New York, Chanel’s runway was filled with exciting debuts.
Unsurprisingly, some of Chanel’s models hail from the States: Mannie Lafan is from Chicago, while Riley Lusher calls Jessup, Georgia home, and Nolie Munn is a true Kansas girl. But Chanel tapped fresh faces from all over the world—Brazil, Canada, Senegal, and South Africa—and their passions reach far and wide, from scrapbooking to collecting vinyl to fishing.
Below, meet some of the models making their runway debuts at Chanel’s 2025 Métiers d’Art show in New York City.
