Before her appearance at Vogue World 2025, Sofia Richie Grainge was thinking about the visual cues of classic American cinema: sleek and structured silhouettes, iconic denim, crisply tailored designs that feel collegiate and confident. It’s these design ideals onscreen that go hand-in-hand with the sartorial lexicon of Tommy Hilfiger, who dressed Richie Grainge for the occasion.
“Vogue World was all about where cinema meets style, so it was so exciting to go with Tommy and Dee Hilfiger,” she tells Vogue. “Tommy has this incredible legacy of fusing the worlds of fashion and entertainment. It doesn’t get more iconic than that.”
The fully-fledged designer, model, and mom’s look centered on a custom piece inspired by the Tommy Hilfiger Lady jacket, reimagined in a longer, sleeker silhouette with gold buttons. The structured navy wool and straight denim jeans from the winter 2025 collection created a look that, for Richie Grainge “felt classic yet effortlessly modern.” She proudly showed off her bump—now pregnant with her second child—with her jacket artfully unbuttoned. For glam, her go-to makeup artist, Carly Fisher, kept it light and glowy, accentuating her pregnant glow with a dusty pink flush, and a smudge of eyeliner at the corner of her hazel eyes. Hair was pulled back in the clean girl classic, center parted bun.
“The look was drawn from classic Tommy archival silhouettes—the foundation of the iconic American wardrobe,” she explains. “We reimagined the Tommy Lady Jacket, striking the perfect balance of polish and ease. It’s one of those forever pieces that will live in my closet— timeless, effortless, and meant to be worn for years to come.”
Richie Grainge was joined by her husband, Elliot Grainge, sitting on the front row among other well-dressed stars including Miley Cyrus, Hailey Bieber, Dakota Johnson, and more. Witnessing tributes to Moulin Rouge, Orlando, Black Panther, Dune, and the late Diane Keaton, Richie Grainge reminisced about her own relationship to cinema. “The entire evening felt cinematic—the looks were incredible; it was a perfect mix of glamour, nostalgia, and newness,” she shares. “I’ve always loved dressing up and going to the movies—there’s something so special about the entire experience.”
After a dazzling night on the Paramount lot, it’s back to work for Sofia Richie Grainge, who just launched her new line, SRG. “I’m so excited about this next chapter, [SRG is] really where my focus is right now,” she says, “building out the world of the brand thoughtfully and intentionally. This isn’t just another drop; it’s something I’ve been dreaming about for years. I want to grow SRG into a lifestyle brand that feels timeless, and elevated—a reflection of my personal style and everything I love. We’ve had such an incredible response so far, and I can’t wait to keep expanding it in a really meaningful way.”
